The CR-6200-MIL Series is available as a reliable and accurate (< 20 nanosecond) PTP Grand Master Clock and Transparent/Slave Clock according to IEEE 1588 Std 2002 (PTPv1) or IEEE 1588 Std 2008 (PTPv2) standards, as well as NTP Network Time Server (NTS) |
The CR-6200-MIL Series with PTP Grand Master Clock capability contains a built-in high-accuracy GPS receiver. |
The CR-6200-MIL Series offers advanced filtering capabilities. Multicast filters can be set on the switch, based on IGMP snooping or by manual configuration of static filters. Layer 4 filtering can be done based on UDP destination or source port numbers of UDP/IP packets. |
The CR-6200-MIL series is designed for harsh aircraft and military environments. The platform offers a wide operating temperature range [-40 to +85Cº] with ruggedized military-approved connectors. The unit is designed to comply to RTCA DO 160G, and is also designed for MIL-STD 461D, -704E, and -810G. |
The CR-6200-MIL Series supports all relevant IEEE Ethernet standards. Interoperability with other PTP devices is ensured based on extensive testing. |
The CR-6200-MIL Series offer full management based on HTTP, telnet, CLI, or SNMP v1/v2/v3. |
The CR-6200-MIL Series, with its unique embedded PTP version translator feature, allows Slave Clocks of both PTPv1 and PTPv2 to co-exist in the same network. The need for PTP version translation is driven by the fact that PTPV1 (IEEE 1588 2002) is not backward compatible with PTPv2 (IEEE 1588 2008). Both PTP versions cannot co-exist in the same network unless a PTP version translator is used. OnTime Networks offers a cost-efficient solution by introducing a PTP version translation feature into its products which helps to protect your PTPv1 investments. With the embedded PTP version translation you can use your legacy PTPv1 equipment alongside your new PTPv2 equipment without the need to upgrade or change the configuration of old PTPv1 equipment. |
