ONTIME NETWORKS: HISTORY

OnTime Networks originated in 2000 with a drive to find new solutions for Ethernet-based industrial communications. With a goal to provide an extension of Ethernet to the factory floor, outdoor and real time applications, our solutions continue to revolutionize the industry.

OnTime Networks is one of the founding fathers of the IEEE 1588 Standard for Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and the company is also recognized as one of the inventors for the IEEE1588 Transparent Clock (TC) technology, which is a core part of the IEEE1588-2008 (PTPv2) standard.
